NOVÁ KAROLINA - II. ETAPA, Bytový dům F

O projektu

Bytový dům se nachází v centru Ostravy, v sanovaném areálu bývalé koksovny Karolina. Objekt je součástí 2. etapy výstavby New Karolina Residential. Dům F uzavírá východní stranu Náměstí Biskupa Bruna.
Objekt má tři schodišťové sekce s 6, 9 a 8 nadzemními podlažími. V přízemí jsou situovány vstupní prostory, komerční jednotky, garáže, sklepy a technické místnosti. Od 2 NP výše jsou navrženy byty různých velikostí a standardů. Atraktivitu bytů zvyšují předzahrádky, střešní terasy i společná pobytová zahrada. Hmota objektu je výrazně tvarována s akcentovanými věžemi a vykonzolovaným severním křídlem.
Členitou formu sceluje provedení fasády. Hlavním motivem jsou linie stropních desek. Prostor mezi nimi člení francouzská okna, plasticita lodžií a meziokenní vyzdívky se strukturovanou omítkou.
V rámci projektu byla řešena dopravní i technická infrastruktura, městský parter a sadové úpravy veřejných prostranství.

Residential building is located in the Ostrava city centre, in the refurbished complex of former coking plant Karolina. Building is part of the 2nd phase of New Karolina Residential development. Building F is closing the east side of Square of Biskup Bruno.
Building has three staircase sections with 6, 9 and 8 above-ground floor levels. There are entrance areas, retail units, parking, cellars and technical rooms located on the ground floor. From 2nd above ground floor level up there are designed apartments of various dimensions and standards. Their attractiveness is supported by dooryards, roof terraces and community residential garden. Building mass is strongly shaped with accentuated towers and cantilevered north wing.
Ragged form is consolidated by the facade style. Lines of ceiling slabs represent the main motif. Space between them is segmented by French windows, plasticity of loggias and lining between windows with structured plaster.
Within the project were also solved traffic and technical infrastructure, city parterre and public space landscaping.
