NeverEnough BlackBox Store

Na pražském náměstí Jiřího z Poděbrad byl nedávno otevřen obchod nesoucí název NeverEnough BlackBox Store. Prostor je obchodem, místem setkávání lidí, ale i galerií; prodávají se zde trička, mikiny, ale i batohy a doplňky; na baru je možné objednat speciální pivo i kvalitního panáka. Hlavním motivem interiéru, vizuálního stylu a většiny sortimentu je kontrast černé a bílé barvy. Dřevěné rámy výkladců do náměstí i stěny interiéru jsou černé, bar i stěna fungující jako galerie je obložen černým režným masivním dřevem, stejně jako stěny zkušební kabinky. Na podlaze jsou světlejší masivní prkna ponechána svému přirozenému stárnutí. Dvě stropní zrcadlové klenby nesou kovové rámy s doplňujícím bodovým světlem a dva černé dvanáctiramenné lustry "sputnik" s vintage žárovkami s označením "ST64". Strop je záměrně ponechán v bílé výmalbě, aby vynikly původní klenby a osvětlení v černé barvě. Naproti vstupním dveřím stojí obří skříňová stěna složená z jednotlivých boxů mořených do teak-mahagonové a černé barvy, ve které je vystavena většina prodávaného sortimentu. Černé zdi za barem dominuje mohutný bílý logotyp NeverEnough URBAN ARMOR_PRG.

Jiřího z Poděbrad Square in Prague’s Vinohrady district recently witnessed the opening of NeverEnough BlackBox Store featuring an interior designed by architect Kryštof Blažek of studio minio. NeverEnough BlackBox Store is a shop, a meeting place and an art gallery. Items sold here range from t-shirts and sweatshirts to backpacks and accessories, and at the bar you can order yourself a craft beer or a nip of something stronger. The dominant theme of the interior, the visual style and most of the goods in stock is the contrast of black and white. The wooden frames of the shop windows looking out onto the square and the inside walls are black; the bar and the gallery wall is lined with black rough sawn wood, as are the walls of the changing rooms. The lighter wooden plank floor is being left to weather naturally. Two flattened barrel vaults support metal frames equipped with additional spot lighting and two black twelve-arm Sputnik chandeliers with vintage ST64 light bulbs. The ceiling has been intentionally left white to emphasise the original vaulting and black lighting. Opposite the front door is a vast wall display case composed of individual teak-mahogany and black stained boxes containing most of the goods sold here. The black wall behind the bar is dominated by the massive white logotype “NeverEnough URBAN ARMOR_PRG”.
